What is Centcom?

Centcom is a hosted predictive dialer service, that gives you the power and flexibility of a predictive dialer, without requiring any investments in hardware or software. All you need is a phone line and a computer with an Internet connection and you're ready to start dialing.

Does Centcom use VOIP?

No. Centcom is 100% PSTN based. Both the connection to the call center agent, as well as the outbound calls are made over a traditional telephone network.

What phone number will our clients see when being called through Centcom?

With Centcom, you have the ability to control the called ID number being transmitted to your clients on a per campaign basis.

Will I need additional hardware or software to use Centcom?

No. Centcom does not require any additional hardware or software. All that you need is a PC with internet access and a regular phone line.

How fast should my internet connection be?

A dialup connection is capable of supporting a single agent, while a standard broadband (cable, DSL) connection can support up to 30 agents. Because of the high availability of broadband in most areas and the increased speed, it is recommended over dialup.

Can I still use Centcom if I have a broadband telephone service such as Vonage?

Yes, you can. With VOIP providers like Vonage, you are assigned a regular 10 digit number for each of your phone lines.

Is there a minimum requirement to open a Centcom account?

Yes. There is a minimum requirement of 4 stations to open an account for outbound service and a minimum of 8 stations for an inbound/call blending service. In addition, there is a minimum usage of 50 hours per station per month.

Do I need to sign a long term contract?

No. Centcom is a pay-per-use service and as such, there is no long term commitment beyond the minimum monthly usage.

Are there any set up or monthly fees?

There are no set up or monthly fees. The only cost to set up your account is your initial purchase of access time which is based on your account capacity.

Can we dial from multiple locations?

Centcom agents can connect from anywhere where an internet connection exists. This allows for multiple offices or remote agents to dial simultaneously on the same data.

Can I manage my Centcom account over the Web?

Yes, Centcom offers web-based tools that allow you to manage your campaigns, generate reports and automate lead management.
